FCAP’s Florida Advanced CAM Studies
HEATHROW, FLORIDA – APRIL 24, 2012 – FCAP-Florida Community Association Professionals, LLC brought together community association experts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida during the week of April 16 – 20, 2012 at Gold Coast Professional Schools’ Tamarac campus to present and record information for FCAP’s 40-hour Florida Advanced CAM Studies. Mapili CPAs’ Bernie Mapili presented Association Accounting and Financial Statements as part of the 40-hour offering.
Florida Advanced CAM Studies is a 40-hour/5-day training course for licensed CAMs in Florida who are pursuing FCAP’s professional designation of CFCAM – Certified Florida Community Association Manager. Florida Advanced CAM Studies is currently offered at Florida CAM Schools and Gold Coast Professional Schools. Thirty-three partner companies including Mapili CPAs provided curriculum in the Advanced CAM Studies course development. These partner companies include accounting firms, engineering firms, management companies, attorneys, reserve specialists, banks, and assorted industrial companies specializing in interior and exterior repairs and maintenance of homeowners associations, condominium associations, cooperatives, timeshares and mobile home parks.
FCAP – Florida Community Association Professionals, LLC is an organization created to raise the level of professionalism among managers, service providers and community volunteers.
